This long par 4 could be the hardest hole on the South Course. The landing area for the tee shot sits above the player, any tee shot landing to the right of the fairway will find the large pond that sits adjacent. Those who find the fairway will face a long approach (200 +/- yards.) to a green protected by the knob that Mr. Dye designed in it's front, left corner. During the 1999 US Senior Open this was the hardest ranked hole, playing to an average score of 4.557. Often this hole is played into the prevailing wind.
